MY wife & I had a tremendously relaxing time at High Gables. Megan & Roger's hospitality was second to none & we'll definitely be coming back some time, hopefully in the not to distant future.

A wonderful place!
We recently stayed at High Gables B&B in Simon's town. We were thrilled with the beautiful rooms, magnificent view of False Bay and the mountains along the coast, and of course the terrific hospitality of our hosts, Megan and Roger. We would have loved to stay longer; the area is lovely and relaxed, and everything in the Cape is within easy reach.

Description
High Gables Bed & Breakfast is situated on the mountainside above Simon's Town and overlooks the Naval Harbor, the Yacht Basin and False Bay. One double room and one twin bed room are available, both en-suite and with magnificent sea views. Both rooms have a TV and radio, min fridge, tea and coffee facilities and separate entrances. Sit and relax on the veranda or the garage roof garden and watch the activity in the bay, whales from June until November and dolphins at different times during the year. Weekly sailing from the local yacht club and naval ships entering or leaving the harbor also add interest. Make High Gables your base to visit the wine farms, the Cape Town Waterfront and the World of Birds. Boulders Beach, home of the famous African Penguin is just 2km away and Cape Point Nature Reserve and the Cape Point Ostrich Farm +- 20km. Take a short walk to Simon's Town village and visit the many craft shops; museums and historical buildings. Swimming beaches and many hiking trails are to be fund close by, also diving, fishing and sailing trips can also be organized in or around Simon's Town.
