Guinea Fowl Cottage is situated in Kommetjie, nestled between the Slangkop Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean. The cottage overlooks a green belt with sea and mountain views. There are toiletries, a fruit basket and cotton percale linen for your comfort.
The cottage is situated on a green belt 100 steps from Long Beach; a famous surf location. Within walking distance to restaurants, deli, pubs and village shops.
In one of the most beautiful and unspoilt settings in Cape Town, Kommetjie’s Long Beach is a stretch of over 5 km of white sand with waves popular with the surfing fraternity and a reputation for crawfishing. The Kommetjie beach also has a protected tidal pool perfect for toddlers and is peaceful, even during peak season.
Kommetjie is self-sufficient, but there is a shopping centre at Long Beach Mall close by. Along Kommetjie Road you will pass Imhoff Farm; converted farm buildings providing a bakery, a tea garden, craft shops, art studios and a cheese dairy, as well as camel and horse rides for children.
