An oasis in the city

We liked everything about the Terra Africa: Very nice people, a lovely garden, good meals and interesting art all around the place. There's quite a busy road nearby but we slept well. Should we return to Windhoek we would stay there again.

Great Hosts !

We had a lovely stay at Terra Africa. Arrived early and cold and wet (from downpour on our tent the previous night). They let us check in early, get our gear dried out, did our laundry. Awesome hosts. Nice guesthouse, too. Our room was a little on the small side but we had requested a double bed and that was the only one they still had available. I think the other rooms are much bigger. thanks again !

Guesthouse Terra Africa is situated in the modern capital of Namibia, Windhoek in the beautiful surroundings of Olympia, between a number of African Embassies and the new State House of the Republic of Namibia. It has beuatiful views of the City of Windhoek, and serves as the ideal gateway to a great variety of landscapes within Namibia. Guests at the Terra Africa House can relax in a comfortable guesthouse, with nine beautiful en-suite guest rooms, while preparing for all the experiences that an exploration through Namibia has to offer. For our guests, to get into the African feel of things, culinary specialties such as rich and traditional Namibian cuisine is offered at the a la carte restaurant. In the surroundings of the comforting pool, there are a number of theme gardens that consist of trees and plants from the Namibian landscape, which are inhabited by a large variety of indigenous birds and even their very own resident meerkat. In addition, guests should be on the lookout for art pieces, photography and jewellery by renowned Namibian artists that are placed throughout the guesthouse. These pieces are clearly labelled and are available to purchase by the guest. Look out especially for artwork by renowned Namibian artist Helena Brandt and Uganda’s Kizito Maria Kasule.
