We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Rochelle,it was comfortable,spotlessly clean and the hostess was very welcoming indeed, couldnt have offered us more. The only thing missing from making it a 4 star was not having air con.

We stayed one night at Guesthouse LaRachelle as a stopover between the Garden Route and Cape Town, but wish we had considered staying a couple of nights to explore the area around Swellendam. The guesthouse was very comfortable, with helpful hosts and a very good breakfast. It would certainly be a good base for exploring the area and ideal for relaxation at the end of a busy day.
