Very interesting explanations from the San people concerning the use of plants(medicinal effects)
To see wild dogs and walk among them at the rehabilitation center was terrific.

Grassland Bushman Lodge is situated on the western side of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve in the Ghanzi district of Botswana, the property is a private wildlife reserve of some 15 000 ha.

Description
Grassland Safaris is located northeast of Ghanzi about 80Km. Because of our unique location, immense land size, and proper management, you are likely to see more Kalahari game at Grassland Safaris than any other safari outfitter. For a real awesome cultural experience with the San(bushman) Grassland Safaris is a must! Their are a San village very close to Grassland lodge with very warm friendly Bushmen that are eager to show guests their survival skills! For the Boat Safari trips, we pack all the food, beverages, tents, bedding etc onto the boats. Camping is done on the islands and bird viewing is absolutely top class! At Grassland Safaris you will be amazed by the comfortable chalets, dining facilities, and hospitable staff. Grassland has four extremely well furnished chalets, each with their own en-suite bathrooms, beds, closets, and dresser amenities. Each facility has constant hot water and your laundry is done daily at no extra cost. Our meals are extraordinary, well prepared, and a far cry above most other safari outfits. We provide 3 meals a day, snacks, mid-day tea and dessert, cold drinks, wine, and a fully stocked bar for evening nightcaps Another unique aspect of our camp is our large swimming pool. Guests thoroughly enjoy taking a soothing swim after a long day of game drives and cultural walks. Likewise, guests often enjoy sitting by the bricked fire pit and watch as hundreds of animals come in at dusk to feed by the large illuminated water pan a mere 50 yards away. Boat safari (Start in northern panhandle of the Okavango Delta and come by boat on a 7 day safari as close to Maun as the water will take us.) This special safari can only be done in August & September when the water are high. And nights are spend on islands in the Delta. $ 500=00 per person sharing per night.
