Relaxed with a view on a semi-amphitheater -

Granny Dot's spot is remote, but close to Tzaneen. Splendid view of the Northern Drakensberg from the lawn under the palm tree. Very fine owners who treat you with care and joy. Perfect atmosphere at breakfast. Very relaxed! And we enjoyed the 11 km red-cat trail with steep slopes and marvelous trails along the mountain streams.

Great place to get away from the daily hectic -

Best views we had from any of our rooms (or pools) over a 3 week trip. Everything is clean and of good standard. Helpful owners who are full of advice for local activities. Certainly a good place to get away from the daily hectic. However, quite bumpy farm road through the forest to get to the place (so don't come with a sports car). Standard English breakfast. Lunchbox can be arranged at extra cost. Recommendable.

Joyce and Richard are really friendly people.
My wife and I stayed only for one night in there
establishment. However, this very short stay was sufficient to formulate our impression.
We felt at home. In addition, we shared an evening braai
with other guests, which gave us the opportunity to
exchange ideas and experiences with all the interesting
people sitting around the table inside.
We warmly recommend this B&B to all tourists
visiting SA.

A family homestead for 63 years, this friendly guest house, scenically perched on 28 hectares of rolling green hills in the farming district of Agatha, 16kms above Tzaneen, overlooks the magnificent Wolkberg mountains, forests and waterfalls.
Abundant bird life - you may see small game. Hike to the dam, relax by the secluded pool or visit the numerous scenic attractions in our area. Unwind in front of the roaring log fire in winter, enjoy a friendly chat in our cosy pub and then a delicious prearranged dinner.
