Scuba Diving: Coloured reefs and a coastline littered with shipwrecks provide ample opportunities to enjoy this sport.

Hiking: this is a popular pastime and trails can be found almost everywhere you go. We do advise a guided option for those venturing on the mountain. There is a wide variety of options available which will suit all styles from a gentle stroll to the more challenging hikes. For further details ranges as well as through the vineyards of the Winelands.
Paragliding/Sky diving: whether a first time, tandem or accelerated free fall, all options are available
Surfing: the Western Cape offers an abundance of waves suitable for those either with or without experience. Board hire, surf safaris and tuition are all available.

Climate: Were the Western Cape's climate more flexible, we would offer you the weather of your choosing any day of the year! Sharp seasonal changes and varied climates make our province a destination of choice. Overall, the climate is typically Mediterranean, with warm, dry summers and mild, moist winters.
