Glenhaven Cottage

Such a lovely place to stay, the facilities are perfect and Sue, the owner, made me feel so welcome. The cottage was spacious with everything I needed and more, in an ideal setting in Cape Town. Will be recommending it to everyone back home.

In every way. We could not have been more happy with this lovely home from home in a really upmarket suburb of Cape Town. The room was a very good size, with a balcony overlooking the pool and with mountain views, the bed was comfortable, coffee and tea crockery and cutlery as well as cooking facilites are great [though we ate out every day as it's so cheap with Pounds Sterling very strong against the South african Rand] and TV with a comfortable sofa for relaxing and enjoying the complimantary bottle of liqueur which was there when we arrived. And, oh yes fresh spring water in the fridge along with milk and a drinks bar. There is secure off street parking here which was a boon. There are great restaurants and the facilities of the shops and Pick and Pay supermarket in Claremont are within walking distance of Glenhof Road. Nothing was too much trouble for Sue and her factotem Mustafa, whose cooked breakfasts really hit the spot! We will be returning here the next time that we are in Cape Town! Very, very well recommended.

We stayed for a few days and it was really homely, nice breakfast and very accommodating. A great location, couldn't fault it.

Ideally situated. Comfortable accommodation with every amenity we needed. Lovely weekend stay.
