Facilities

Glen Reenen Rest Camp offers Rondavels, Longdavels and guest Cottages with either one double and two single beds or two single and one stack bed. There is also a camping site in the beautiful shaded grounds, ablutions and barbecue facilities. A maximum of six persons and one caravan or tent is permitted per site.

The following areas were found to be in need of attention: 1. Braai facilities are poorly maintained broken/rusted. 2. Shower heads need to be replaced 3.Drains in shower & basins blocked. 4.Having a major road running through the park is most unacceptable - traffic noise most irritating. 5. Security is non existing.

We had a wonderful stay, basic accomodation but neat and tidy. Inside fireplace was much appreciated, so were the electric blankets. Very close to day walk routes.

My family and I had a wonderful time at Glen Reenen Rest Camp enjoying the mountain view and being surrounded by natured. We enjoyed our stay there and we will recommend it to our friends.

Die sneeu was 'n belewenis. Dan nie eens te praat van die kleur veranderinge soos die son aanskuif. The snow was an experience. Not to mention the colour changes that came with the movement of the sun.

Our stay, although short, was most enjoyable. The rondavels are well kept. Beds were comfortable. Sufficient hot water. Roads to Glen Reneen in good condition. All equipment in good working order. We will return.
