Glen Avon Lodge is situated within easy access of Cape Town, the False Bay and Atlantic Seaboards and the picturesque fishing village of Hout Bay. This tastefully furnished gabled manor house of yesteryear, with its yellow wood beamed ceilings and breathtaking mountain views is an exclusive getaway.

The 14 tastefully appointed en-suit bedrooms have tea and coffee making facilities, bar fridge, private telephone and TV with M-Net. Facilities include a 11m swimming pool, thatched lapa recreation area and a conference room for small intimate functions. Fine cuisine with a selection of local Cape wines offers a unique dining experience.

The lodge is listed in the Portfolio of Country Retreats, 5 star rated Country House by SATGO, a member of the Good Cooks and their Country Houses.

One of the best lodges...

A lovely and quiet lodge with extremely polite and helpful staff. I needed rest and the staff respected my request for privacy completely. I appreciated that very much. The room I had (12) was comfortable, well-appointed, with a deep tub in the bathroom and very nice toiletries. The room had a relaxing view of the pool in the garden and the mountains in the distance. It was one of the best lodges I have ever stayed in anywhere in the world.
