Situated on Glen Afton Farm, a little over 2km from the N3 Freeway and 10km from the village of Nottingham Road, Glen Afton Country House is at the hub of the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands.
We offer 4 luxury double rooms, all with full en suite bathrooms as well as a family unit, sleeping 4 in two bedrooms also with a full en suite bathroom.
Each suite is individually and tastefully furnished and offers coffee and tea making facilities, reading matter and gas heaters and down duvets for the cold winter nights. Patio rooms overlook one of the attractive dams on the farm.
After a hearty breakfast, served either on the front verandah or in the elegant dining room, guests may take a leisurely stroll around the 80ha farm, spot any of over 130 species of birds, a variety of buck, other small game or our farm animals, fly-fish in one of three trout dams or try a hand at pool or snooker on a full size billiard table.
For the more adventurous and energetic, Glen Afton Country House is the ideal base from which to explore the many delights of the Midlands and Central Drakensburg area, all in close proximity. The Battlefields Route is also easily accessible for day trips.
