Glade Farm, your ideal get away destination is situated on a 35 acre farm only 6km from the tourist town of Winter ton. Glade farm is central to all the popular activities and resorts in the Drakensberg. Our homestead sports a 4 sleeper unit and a 6 sleeper unit each with its own fully equipped kitchen, dining room and air conditioned lounge. With our lapa along the Little Tugela River it is a prime spot for bird watching, Carp fishing or just relaxing with a refreshing drink, soaking up the peacefulness that our resort combined with nature has to offer. The surrounding area offers a wide variety of activities including hiking, Nature Reserves, Golf, Bowls, Horse riding, picnic spots, quad biking, white water rafting, bird shows and Drakensberg Boys Choir shows. Also in the surrounding area is the Battlefields Route and San Rock Art. The town of Winter ton caters for all your basic needs and also boasts a Museum. You are able to enjoy the best of both worlds by having the facilities of a town but the tranquility that farm style living has to offer. Upon arrival at our resort, you will be welcomed by your hosts, Jan & Trish who will assist you in settling in and getting your holiday under way.
