Getaway Bush offers safe and comfortable self-catering accommodation in Marloth Park, which borders the southern region of the famous Kruger National Park and is just 100 m from the Crocodile River, where any of the Big 5 can be viewed. The Crocodile River divides Marloth Park from the Kruger National Park and lion, hyena and hippo are often heard.

Getaway Bush caters comfortably for larger groups of up to 11 guests. There are two units to choose from, Zebra House and Kudu Cottage, consisting of five bedrooms and three bathrooms in total. Air-conditioning is available throughout the two units and there is a ceiling fan in each room. 36 inch TVs and a DStv dish are provided, but guests must bring their own decoders and smart cards. If you bring two decoders the house and cottage can support separate channels - very nice if the children want to watch their own programs in the cottage and the adults watch the rugby in the house.

Both units are self-catering and open-plan and all crockery and cutlery provided. Linen and towels are provided and daily cleaning of entertainment areas and extra house cleaning is available. Each unit has its own private entertainment area. It is very safe for children and facilities include two braai/boma areas, one sit-pool, one jungle gym and sand pit, a dart board and eight-seater dining tables. A comfortable outdoor lounge suite, two outside showers, and a carport for two cars complete the picture.

Zebra House and Kudu Cottage can be booked together or separately, as they are apart from each other and have separate and private entertainment areas, one facing north and the other facing south. Zebra House can cater for two to seven guests or Kudu Cottage can cater for two to four guests.

Will send you some pics, we had a Kudu, Zebras and lots of monkey`s visiting us at the cottage. Absolutely amazing time. Nathi (the cleaner) was extremely helpful, we tipped him well. Will definitely call you again. The place was absolutely fabulous and everything was just fine. I accidentally broke one of the coffee mugs - is there something that I can do to replace? Nb: looked for a visitor`s book to see what other visitors experienced, maybe a tip for future visitors. We would definitely keep your contact number safe with us to arrange more visits. Thank you Nita, it was a great Easter weekend!

The house is built for families who love the Lowveld and bush experience. Lush green trees and shady surroundings right around the unit and several waterholes next to the house with regular visits from kudu, zebra, warthog, vervets, chachma, blue wildebeest and a variety of feathered friends. At night you hear the lions roar, and the night jars late at night when all is quiet. House owner Nita is extremely helpful and accommodating and I will definitely be back.

Three-bedroom self-catering home sleeping up to seven guests. The main bedroom contains a king-size bed, a full en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning, and a ceiling fan. The second en-suite bedroom contains twin single beds, air-conditioning and a ceiling fan and the third bedroom contains a double bunk bed and a single bed and is ideal for children. 36" TV and DStv dish provided, please bring your own smart card and decoder. Zebra House boasts a 120 square meters safely enclosed entertainment area with thatched roof Lapa, an eight seater wooden table, a comfortable outdoor lounge suit, a dart board for use with your own darts, a boma braai area and an extra outdoor shower. There is another eight seater table around the braai and a children’s play area with a jungle gym, sand pit and lawn. The children can interact safely with the animals behind the enclosed area.
