German Bay Lodge

We really enjoyed our stay. The views are stunning and the owners and other guests were fabulous people. We felt very comfortable and very welcome.

I really think that the German Bay Lodge is a fantastic place if you would like to break away from the rat race, from the minute I arrived I was made to feel very welcome, and tha rooms were neat and clean and have an awesome view of the sea, The Breakfast was amazing and one staff members Christina was very helpfull . Next time when I am staying in EL The German Bay Lodge will be on the top of my list.

It was truly wonderful, our hosts were more like friends than anyhting else. I would struggle to find any fault, the food was just lovely, the conversaton and surroundings were great. Would go back anytime.

Excellent view from the room and patio on ground floor. The tidal pools were excellent for the little ones as well as the pebble beach to collect shells. In retrospect, it would have been wiser to book into a stand alone unit, as we had to keep the kids quiet while the quests in the next door room were resting in the afternoon and in the early morning. Breakfast was excellent. We were on the first floor, and the staircase railings were not as child friendly as we would have liked it. A major concern was that there was a balcony with sliding doors and no railings. This is extremely dangerous, especially for kids - we had to make sure that the older kids did not touch that door in case one of the smaller children managed to get to the balcony.
