The German Bay Lodge is a new modern guest home on the beachfront of Gonubie. Each bedroom is en-suite with an unequaled view of the sea. There are single and double suites to choose from.

Breakfast is served either alfresco on the sundeck or in the dining room overlooking the Indian Ocean. Each room has its own Internet connection for your laptop. The honesty bar provides a nice tranquil and relaxing setting after a day of meetings and business appointments.

What a wonderful atmosphere, I really enjoyed my stay at the German Bay Lodge, the welcome was heart warming, mind you I arrived on a rainy Sunday but as soon as I stepped inside I felt like I was at home. German Bay Lodge is now my home from home.

I really think that the German Bay Lodge is a fantastic place if you would like to break away from the rat race, from the minute I arrived I was made to feel very welcome, and tha rooms were neat and clean and have an awesome view of the sea, The Breakfast was amazing and one staff members Christina was very helpfull . Next time when I am staying in EL The German Bay Lodge will be on the top of my list.

It was truly wonderful, our hosts were more like friends than anyhting else. I would struggle to find any fault, the food was just lovely, the conversaton and surroundings were great. Would go back anytime.
