Gateway Guest House was built on five acres of parkland with an abundance of bird life and offers country living with the convenience of the city close by.

Gateway Guest House offers guests a choice of 13 en-suite bedrooms. The rooms are furnished with double and three-quarter beds and the family rooms have additional sleeper couches. The rooms are equipped with TVs, as well as tea and coffee-making facilities. Laundry facilities are available.

Guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner in the dining room. Barbecues and other outdoor meals can also be arranged. Secure parking is available and guests can make use of our lovely swimming pool.

Weddings, private functions and small conferences for up to 30 people are catered for. Guests can make use of the phone, fax, email and Internet facilities on site.

Various activities are close by, from golfing, bowls, sailing and visits to the power boat clubs to horse riding and birdwatching. The guest house is also close to the John Barrable Sports Hall.

Situated close to two major highways, guests have easy access to Johannesburg and Pretoria. The guest house is close to three large shopping malls and, for the more adventurous, a 15-minute drive will allow you to enjoy the excitement of Emperors Palace and Carnival City.

A booking service is available for local and national sightseeing tours through reputable tour operators, as well as car or microbus hire. For your convenience, Gateway Guest House also has a microbus which is at your service if required. Transfers to and from Johannesburg International Airport can be arranged.
