Fantastic hosts
Refreshing and relaxing. Just what we needed. Esme and Eksteneen were fantastic hosts. Love the way their yard and house is styled.In the middle of a suburb but you feel as though you are in the bushes. That was the relaxing part.
Thank you Esme and Ekstenn for your hospitality, we will definitely come back.

Description
At die gastehuisie guesthouse, one is surrounded by lush gardens and fascinating décor. We are a three star guesthouse, accredited by the tourism grading council of South Africa. We are also 'highly recommended' by the AA.
Accommodation Gastehuisie has 14 unique and artistically styled rooms, all of which have separate entrances, with private patios. All rooms have en suite bathrooms, televisions, telephones, safe boxes and tea and coffee facilities. Each room has a double bed and some also an extra single bed, made up as a couch. Beds are new and regularly inspected. All beds have down feather duvets and extra blankets are available. In each room there is also a writing table with lamp. We offer limited free Internet access (including wireless access in all rooms) and a games room.
Meals Breakfast is included in our rates and consists of a selection of coffee, tea, fruit juice, a wide range of cereals, bread, and fresh fruit. In addition to this a choice of either an english breakfast, which consists of eggs, bacon, cocktail sausages, tomato, mushrooms and cheese, or an omelet will be offered. We also serve supper, which consists of vegetables, a starch, a meat dish and salad. Supper varies every day and needs to be booked 24 hours in advance. Lunch packs are available on request. Guests with specific dietary requirements should let us know in advance so that we can cater for their needs.
Facilities & services We have ample safe parking space, motorized gates and a generally relaxed and secure environment. At gastehuisie we strive to make all our guests feel at home. All rooms have separate entrances, which lead directly onto their own patios and then into garden, the result is that one has enough private space to relax. We do airport transfers from o.r. Tambo and lanseria airports.
Location & attractions We are walking distance (200m) from a wide range of restaurants along the side of Pretorius park dam at the Key West shopping centre. Attractions in our area include the cradle of humankind, which starts 5km from gastehuisie. The rhino and lion park, maropeng, and the sterkfontein caves are among the sites that make the cradle of humankind an unforgettable experience. Gastehuisie is in close proximity to the krugersdorp golf course (500m). We are 15 minutes drive from lanseria airport, and 45-60 minutes drive from Oliver Tambo international airport.
