Description

Ganda Lodge is located within the beautiful teak woodlands of the Sikumi Forest bordering the Hwange National Park - Zimbabwe's premier wildlife area. Ganda Lodge overlooks the Ganda Pan - a natural waterhole which attracts a wide variety of bird and animal species including elephant, buffalo, lion and a large variety of waterfowl.

Visitors are welcomed to the lodge by the game which don't seem to be bothered by the presence of humans. Instinctively, visitors are able to take pictures of game even before they leave their cars to check in to the lodge. Built in 1992, the lodge has matured in the hospitality and catering sectors to cater for a wide range of international, regional and local guests.

Meals are served in the dining room where a selection of mouth-watering game meat has been prepared on the barbecue. After dinner, guests may retire to the traditional open bonfire where they can enjoy the African night highlighted by the floodlit pan. The swimming pool offers clients an opportunity to cool off after an eventful day of game viewing. Undiscovered gem
Jonathan Hart, South Africa
10 August 2011
We stayed at Ganda Lodge for three nights during August 2011 and were really sad that we weren't staying longer. Whilst the facilities are a little lacking in certain instances, the price is excellent and the overall experience is brilliant. The staff are some of the best we have come across anywhere. The food is good and the animals (especially elephants) coming down to the waterhole make for a wonderful stay. At the price you won't do better!
