Ganda Lodge is located within the beautiful teak woodlands of the Sikumi Forest bordering the Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe's premier wildlife area. Ganda Lodge overlooks the Ganda Pan, a natural waterhole which attracts a wide variety of bird and animal species including elephant, buffalo, lion and a large variety of waterfowl.

Visitors are welcomed to the lodge by the game which don't seem to be bothered by the presence of humans. Instinctively, visitors are able to take pictures of game even before they leave their cars to check in to the lodge. Built in 1992, the lodge has matured in the hospitality and catering sectors to cater for a wide range of international, regional and local guests.

Meals are served in the dining room where a selection of mouth-watering game meat has been prepared on the barbecue. After dinner, guests may retire to the traditional open bonfire where they can enjoy the African night highlighted by the floodlit pan.

The swimming pool offers clients an opportunity to cool off after an eventful day of game viewing. For those who want to conference in the wild, the lodge offers conferencing facilities for up to 40 people. Bar facilities are also offered with a variety of drinks available to guests.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ganda Lodge, everything about it was perfect, the food, the surroundings which were breathtaking, the wildlife, the service. We will definately comeback, and would highly recommend it to anyone.

To quote one of the very helpful and friendly staff "we make the most of what we have". This would be a fair comment of the Lodge but it does not come close to covering the great location, accommodating staff and value for money. Most enjoyed.

What a welcome we got from the staff led by Bernard Mpala, the meals were varied and excellent. Overall what a great place we saw a variety of wild animals inc herds of elephants coming to the water hole, my family was overjoyed. Thanks to you guys at Ganda Lodge, Enias and family.

The stay at the lodge was great. We were well taken care of by the staff. There was, at the end of the dry season, quite a lot of game at the water hole close to the lodge. Highlight was the arrival of a herd of approximately 300 buffaloes at nightfall.

This lodge has clearly seen better days. Slightly "socialist" ambience. Staff appeared uninterested, there was no hot water and the roof of our chalet was leaking. No apologies for either. The waterhole, no doubt, was maginificient. In summary: completely overpriced for 130 USD p.p. per night. Would be a nice place for, say, 30 USD per night.
