This was the highlight of our trip. Liz and Brian truly are the most amazing hosts! We enjoyed every moment spent at Fynbos Ridge. The rooms were spotless and had everything you would need. Brain is an excellent cook and I’m pretty sure he has been a chef for many years. If you are looking for peace and quiet with good company, then Fynbos Ridge is the place to be. Thank you once more Liz and Brian for everything. We are going to tell everybody about your truly magical establishment.

On our whole trip this was, without a doubt, my favourite place to stay. Easy to find, massive bedroom, very well furnished and great biscuits! We had a deal including dinner, which was delicious - much higher standard of cooking than we had expected. Grounds and pool look lovely, was just to cold in winter! Would definitely recommend to everyone, and will definitely stay again on my next trip to SA.

A very well appointed cottage that catered for every eventuality. Made to feel very welcome by helpful and enthusiastic staff, would certainly stay here again. Probably the best accommodation of our entire stay.

The Fynbos reserve has been beautifully and attentively restored and developed by owners Sally and Paul. Manager Martin creates his own brand of magic and is a superb and accomplished host. Chef and staff were highly competent, gracious, attentive and charming. Kitchen is excellent and guest house most comfortable and charming. We stayed for 9 days and would happily have stayed a lot longer. Would most definitely go back over and over- and we are not very easily pleased!
