Garden Route Night 7
On our whole trip this was, without a doubt, my favourite place to stay.
Easy to find, massive bedroom, very well furnished and great biscuits!
We had a deal including dinner, which was delicious - much higher standard of cooking than we had expected.
Grounds and pool look lovely, was just to cold in winter!
Would definitely recommend to everyone, and will definitely stay again on my next trip to SA.

A very well appointed cottage that catered for every eventuality. Made to feel very welcome by helpful and enthusiastic staff, would certainly stay here again. Probably the best accommodation of our entire stay.

Fynbos Ridge is set amongst fragrant Fynbos. There are spectacular mountain views and the property abounds with abundant birdlife. The secluded pool is ideal to relax and unwind, or one can enjoy the many activities in the vicinity – forest or coastal hiking trails, glorious beaches, top golf courses, whale watching ocean safaris. Choose between a luxurious suite in the gracious Cape-style Manor House or a spacious self-catering cottage, newly refurbished with stone bath tubs. Delicious dining and alfresco breakfasts are available, or pick your own salad from the organic vegetable garden. Fynbos Ridge is 5-star graded with the TGCSA, and is Carbon Neutral Approved.

The 140 sq.m. Self-catering cottages comprise of a large lounge/dining area with an open log fireplace plus direct access to a patio area with braai (barbecue) facilities and open views of a fynbos valley. There is a fully equipped kitchen. A bedroom with a king-size bed, an open fireplace and en suite bathroom (stone tub) and one twin bedroom with en suite shower room. Each of our self-catering cottages has a 82 cm LCD screen television with 32 DSTV Channels & a DVD-player and is fully serviced on a daily basis. Breakfast is available by prior arrangement in the Country House.

The 70 sq.m Self-catering studio/apartment (Virgilia) is attached to the side of the guest house but has it's own private entrance with a patio and braai (barbecue) facilities. Virgilia comprises of a large lounge/dining area, a bedroom with a king size bed, a bathroom with bath and separate shower and a fully equipped kitchen. It has a 66 cm LCD screen television with 10 Channels & a DVD-player and is fully serviced on a daily basis. Breakfast is available by prior arrangement in the Country House.

Fynbos Ridge Country House is on the same property as Fynbos Ridge Cottages and is a large Cape Dutch design Country House which has 1 superior luxury bedroom and 4 double luxury bedrooms all with full en suite bathrooms. The superior luxury bedroom has an extra large king-size bed. 2 of the luxury bedrooms have king-size beds and the other 2 luxury bedrooms each have 2 x 3Quarter beds either made up separately or together creating a large king-size bed whichever is preferred. Each room is equipped with a safe, hairdryer, heated towel rail, mini-fridge, tea / coffee making facilities & and iron & ironing board, as well as a 66 cm LCD screen television with 10 Channels & a DVD-player. Breakfasts are served in the alfresco style dining room or, alternatively, there is a very long outdoor patio where guests can enjoy mountain views whilst enjoying their breakfasts or just laze around with a book and watch the birds feed and bath.
