Fruit Tree Cottage is located in the quaint and peaceful town of Stanford, and is one of the original houses built in 1896, recently immaculately restored and refurbished. The quaint renovated Victorian era house comprises five bedrooms, three bathrooms, an indoor barbecue, pub, and entertainment area.

The cottage is located mid-point between Hermanus and Gansbaai, just 500 metres from the Klein River for kayaking or boating, amazing bird trails and bird watching in the reserve, and 15 km from whale watching.

House facilities include a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble-dryer, pool table, indoor barbecue area, table tennis table, and study. DStv is also available with guests' own smart card.

Character: Fruit Tree Cottage is a character home built in 1896 and is a classic Victorian era style home situated in the rustic and quaint town of Stanford with amazing nature walks and bird watching.

Family: Ideally suited for young children with a large flat garden which has been fenced in so that you can relax whilst your children play in the playhouse and sandpit area.

Relaxation: It will be hard to find a more ideal environment to relax and unwind from the hustle and bustle of the city and the daily grind. Just a few hours' drive from the city and you have been transported back in time to a bygone era.

The house is really nice it has everything to make your stay comfortable. It feels like home away from home. The children had a wonderful time, with lots of garden space to run and a play house. We would definitely go back again.
