Franschhoek Travellers’ Lodge is housed in an historic old school hostel and provides comfortable, affordable 2-star accommodation for individuals and groups. We offer 90 beds in rooms of 2, 4, 6 or 8 beds. A few of our rooms have en-suite bathrooms, and we have one self-catering family suite.
Franschhoek Travellers’ Lodge is located close to town, close to shops and restaurants, but away from the busy traffic. There is safe parking in the lodge grounds.

You get what you pay for

The staff were friendly, we had no issues service-delivery wise. The walls were very thin so you can hear people speak, shower, stomping around and so on. There was a group of kids running around and practicing violin at the crack of dawn as the Traveller’s Lodge is right next to a high school. But all-in-all, we got what we paid for and our stay was nice enough.

We had a one-night stay at the lovely Franschhoek Traveller's Lodge and we were 100% happy with our accommodation. The room was clean and neat and the manager was very friendly and accommodating. And, of course, the rate was very affordable. What more does a traveller need? A big thank you and we will be back!
