Francolin Cottage is a beautiful, sunny, thatched cottage with 180-degree sea views. This attractive unit with its rustic poplar beams is set on two levels.

The lower level boasts an open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen area. The lounge is equipped with a comfortable sofa, a fireplace and a TV with DStv. The dining area has a large wooden dining table with seating for six guests. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a gas stove and oven, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster and all cutlery, crockery and appliances needed for a comfortable stay.

Walk up a beautiful, wooden spiral staircase and you will find the double loft bedroom and bathroom. The bed is comfortably dressed and the bathroom contains a bath and a shower. The bedroom walks out to a balcony with breathtaking views of Noordhoek and Chapmans Peak in the distance and a skylight provides the opportunity to stargaze from the comfort of your king-size bed.

The unit has an outside braai/barbecue area and lends itself to outdoor living with bush buck grazing on your lawn. It is situated on Solole Game Reserve, home of the new Pride Ridge Wildlife Sanctuary. The reserve has recently been taken over by Jason Watt who has essentially also invested in the community by providing jobs as well as providing a fun, educational place for people of all ages to visit.

Solole has its own on-site restaurant called Peacocks, as well as a happening sports bar called Buffalo's. You won't have to venture far to experience great food, a great vibe, typical bushveld bonfires and excellent service.
