Theme Forest Creek Lodge is a haven for honeymooners - celebrating your first, fifth or fiftieth, you will be inspired by the romance of this incredibly exclusive place. You will dine on good country fare, full English breakfast, lunch and supper.

Weather permitting we will cook on the braai. For those who wish to hike lunch packs are available. For those who have special diets, we request that you inform us prior to your arrival.

The water at Forest Creek comes from a spring, and we will be bottling our own Forest Creek spring water.

Forest Creek boasts a huge fireplace. Weather permitting; you can enjoy your meals and drinks on our private veranda's views.

Forest Creek is set in a box canyon, surrounded by the Steinkampsburg mountain range, it is totally prive, "one road in, one road out" magical hiking trails along the stream, try your hand at the clever Brown trout that lurk in the ponds of the stream, or just take a lazy walk under the canopy of the indigenous bush, where tiny tree orchids and ferns surround you.

We have a small Spa, where one can book that relaxing massage! Enjoying this magical setting and go home feeling refreshed in mind and body. For a true sense of romantic adventure, there is a 'bush bath' in a secluded spot overlooking the valley, with hot and cold water.

Book your appointment with nature, we supply the bubbles, champagne, candles, towels and whatever you need to enjoy your bath in the bush!

Property Description - Forest Creek is set in a box canyon, surrounded by mountains; it is secluded and totally private. On this magnificent piece of land we hope we have catered for everyone, from Luxury guest suites at the main lodge to self-catering cottages.

There are various hiking trails for the ardent hiker and for the not so fit. Please note that the last 4kms of dirt road require a high clearance vehicle, however we can collect you at the bottom of the hill and leave your vehicle in a safe place, most vehicles come up the hill, but please don't bring a new BMW or Mercedes! there is a R75.00 shuttle fee per vehicle, per trip up the hill.
