Description

Situated in a sheltered spot just below Chapman’s Peak Drive, just metres from the sea, Flora Bay is surrounded by magnificent scenery. One to three-bedroom units are available, each with a fully-equipped kitchen and private bathroom. There is a TV in each of the units, and many of the units have been recently refurbished.

The resort, which is owner-managed, also has its own private beach. Swimming, yachting, fishing, mountain walks, and cruises to Seal Island are just some of Hout Bay's attractions.

Calm and lovely view

I stayed at Flora Bay late 2010 with my family at a bigger unit was marvelous. This time I came with my wife, the smaller units are ok but I prefer the big ones more. They were kind enough to arrange for some flowers that I requested. They looked nice and the price they charged was minimal. Only one thing bothered me which was a sink and bathtub blockage that was NOT resolved although I told them about it three times in two days. I eventually stopped nagging and sucked it up & ... more

I had a fantastic stay. The best view you could ask for, the ocean in your ears. I will be sure to return to Flora Bay Resort. It's right next to Chapman's Peak and offers the best views. Lots to do in surrounding areas.

Spectacular setting, great views, the sound of the sea close by. The accommodation is practical yet comfortable. Only downside really in the six-sleeper is only one bathroom to share, and of course the wind.
