Facilities

Flatcrown Cottage is an upmarket one-bedroom cottage, fully furnished for self-catering. The cottage is suitable for one person or a couple. It has a swimming pool and laundry facilities available.

Park in our secure garden and walk to ABSA or Mabhida Stadiam, or to the famous Florida Road restaurants. A ten-minute drive leads you to the beautiful Durban beaches, and the Durban ICC and City Centre.

I had a very good stay at Flatcrown cottage. The flatlet was well equipped and pleasantly decorated etc, no complaints at all (except for the very low water pressure in the shower, which I was told was a problem in the area at large, maybe my hostess should install a small sit-in bath instead). My hostess was friendly, easily accessed, and very helpful. I will definitely go back!

Yola was a wonderful host. the cottage is clean and has everything you would need from a self catering facility. A hidden gem!

We enjoyed our stay! Very peaceful, and we especially enjoyed the small veranda. We are not great Durban fans and the cottage was like a haven after the busy streets! Thanks to Yola as well for her friendliness, and the little extras to spoil us.
