350m away is a stunning long expanse of pristine uncrowded beach and a little further on is a large kiddies tidal pool, with clean well maintained toilets on the edge of beach. Great surfing and fishing can be found right along the Southbroom coastline, with the main beach (with an adjoining large lagoon) providing life-guard supervision.

Within Southbroom, you have the choice of 4 restaurants, a deli as well as a well stocked Kwikspar, beauty salons, bottle store, boutique and furnishing shop. Additionally very close to Southbroom there is a massive array of restaurants and festive pubs.
