Description

Fijnbosch B&B is a lovely duplex apartment situated in Rooi Els, a quiet village located in the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve which forms part of the Cape Floral Kingdom. While attached to the main house, the apartment features a private entrance and although perfect for a couple, additional guests can be accommodated on arrangement. The apartment is available for guests looking to self-cater or on a B&B basis.

The lower level consists of a bathroom, bedroom and veranda that open onto the garden. Both levels offer sea views across False Bay to the Cape Peninsula. The bedroom is furnished with two comfortable single beds and the bathroom has a shower only. The open-plan lounge is equipped with a TV and also has a designated dining area. To add to your comfort, the bedroom and lounge has a wall heater for the winter chill. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave and two-plate oven, and tea and coffee facilities are provided. In addition, barbecue facilities and off-street parking are also available to guests.

The duplex apartment is within 100 m of the rocky Rooi Els shoreline and only five minutes’ walk from a safe swimming beach. Situated 15 minutes from Gordon's Bay, via the scenic Clarence Drive, it is also ideally situated en route to Hermanus and approximately an hour’s drive from Cape Town’s Northern Suburbs.

Rooi Els is an internationally recognized birding hotspot where the Cape Rock jumper and the African penguin can be seen. The town is reached along the R44 which boasts spectacular sea and mountain views and also offers whale and dolphin sightings, while the surrounding mountain protects beautiful fynbos and fauna such as buck and the occasional leopard.
