Ficksburg Country Cottage

AA – Recommended – B and B Homestay: Six rooms. Haven of serenity, guests are assured of outstanding hospitality and personal service. Comfortable en-suite rooms and secure parking. There are three private rooms away from the house. We also have a swimming pool, sauna and braai facilities available. Delicious breakfast and cuisine served in the dining room or on the terrace beneath a wisteria pergola. Dinner on request. We are situated in town and the Golf course, gym and several restaurants are within 2 km distance.

A closed 8 x 6 meter Self-Catering Lapa can be rented out at R200.00 for the unit. The Lapa contains a thatched roof, sandstone brick, built-in braai area, dishwashing basin, microwave, braai pan, and refrigerator. Cutlery and crockery are provided.

Ficksburg borders Lesotho and a trip to the Katse Dam is a must. The scenery is undescribable. (The road is in good condition, suitable for any vehicle. Passports are required. 150km, but 3hour drive there and 3hour drive back with dam-wall tour of 1 hour.– pass all the way.)
