Description

Situated in the heart of the old Bushmans Village, we offer three luxury en-suite bedrooms. The entrance to the rooms is private and separate from the host's dwelling.

Each room is equipped with an overhead fan, a hair dryer, a wall safe, a TV, a hospitality tray and toiletries. Rooms are serviced daily and we provide laundry services on request. Secure off-street parking is available for cars and boats.

A sumptuous breakfast is served daily. Braais and dinners can be provided by arrangement, but there are restaurants nearby. There is a nautical themed pub with a big screen TV for the sport enthusiasts.

The stunning Bushmans River Mouth and beach is a mere five-minute walk away. We are flanked by natural bush on one side so there is an abundance of bird life to enjoy.

The host's dwelling and bed and breakfast rooms can be let out in its entirety for the December and January period on a self-catering basis, for a minimum of 10 days stay. The rate for this option is R3000 per day. The accommodation consists of four en-suite bedrooms including a double bunk in one room, sleeping 10 people comfortably. The rooms are large and can accommodate baby cots easily.

Fat Fish Bed and Breakfast has an AA rating of Highly Recommended and a Sunshine Coast 4 Suns rating.

My husband and I made a spur of the moment decision to go away for the long weekend! Fat Fish responded promptly that they could indeed accomodate us( 1st star earned already!). Upon arriving at Bushmans river, there were clear signs directing us to Fat Fish!(2nd star!) Our hosts, Linda and Trev were so friendly that we really did feel right at home!!! The Fat Fish is clean, run professionally and really felt like a home away from home! We will definitely be going back there in the future.

This has to be one of the best B&B's I've stayed at in a long time. The people are warm and welcoming, the rooms are superb and the breakfast hits the spot every time. Definitely a must if you are in the area!
