The Farmhouse Lodge is situated 3 minutes from the centre of the town of Newcastle in magnificent park like surroundings. We are an ideal stopover between Kruger Park and the KwaZulu-Natal Coast. A total of 23 guests can be accommodated in a combination of air-conditioned family, twin and double rooms. We serve a delicious breakfast which will keep you going for the day.

The Farmhouse Lodge also offers a fully licensed, secure parking, dinners on request, pool, laundry facilities, satellite TV in guest lounge with open fire place, braai facilities and internet connection.

We stayed at The Farmhouse Lodge for one night. We drove from Johannesburg and arrived, unfortunately just after dinner had been served. However we were kindly attended to and we were offered a cheese and meat platter which we gratefully accepted. The room was comfortable and clean and served our purposes well. We had a good breakfast in the morning before we left to continue our onward journey; we were helped with directions before we left.

We were delayed in traffic and arrived very late the evening. We had telephoned our hosts advising of our late arrival and they were there to meet us on our arrival and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. This was indeed a pleasurable experience and highly recommend their establishment.
