Mossel Bay has the second most moderate climate in the world and has lovely white sandy beaches. The famous, and very safe Santos Beach is approximately 4 to 5 km from Fairways.

Mossel Bay offers many tourist attractions and excursions: Drive along the whale route to watch the giant mammals of the ocean; walk the historical route and visit the many museums and historical sites of interest, for example the famous Post Office Tree complex where the navigators, centuries ago, left post under the giant old tree.
