Back at the camp, the swimming pool invites you to cool off and your charming African chalet with its thatched roof invites you to take rest through the heat of the African day.

Billy's Lodge nestles deep in the heart of lion country and is surrounded by magnificent Knobthorn, Leadwood and Marula trees. The lodge features ample lounge areas, dining rooms and game viewing decks, as well as sumptuous leather arm chairs, exquisite Leadwood sculptures and original paintings by David Johnson.

Billy's Lodge also boasts one of the finest wine cellars in Africa, set against natural rock face and resembling an ancient Bushman cave.

River Lodge is situated on the banks of the majestic Olifants River, largest of the lowveld rivers, with large riverine trees and wonderful sightings of hippo and crocodile. It is situated about 20kms from the entrance to Balule Game Reserve (about 45min drive).

This is the premier entertainment lodge, comprising an open air lounge, bar and swimming pool, all under a large thatched roof. River Lodge has two elevated, thatched viewing decks overlooking the river and a game viewing deck set high above a dam frequented by elephant.

Paradise Camp reflects the excitement of the gold rush era and is situated on top of a hill, with spectacular 360 degree views.
