Ezulwini - a true paradise in the South African bush
Billy's Lodge was a wonderful place to stay on safari. There were four of us in our party and after being given a very warm welcome, we were pleasantly surprised to find we had the whole lodge to ourselves. The rooms were spacious and clean, the round cottages being our favourite rooms. We had lunch and dinner served at a different location around the site every day, always with a real fire to keep us warm in the evenings. Absolutely perfect.
The whole stuff was incredible nice and wiling to do their best for us in order to feel safe and most of all welcomed.
We loved the style and the atmosphere of the lodge, also the dishes that the chef prepared were excellent.
We would like also a particular mention for our driver who was friendly, with perfect knowledge of the wild life and the region.

A wonderful African experience
We had a fantastic at the lodge, the staff were welcoming and went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The facilities are great, only wish we had longer to enjoy it!!

Ezulwini, the Zulu word for “Place of Paradise” where Africa remains unspoiled. Here, the emphasis is on friendliness and informality.Your personal game ranger will share his experiences of the bush and animals on drives in an open safari vehicle.At dusk he'll take you into the world of nocturnal creatures on a night drive, stopping for sundowners as the sun drops over the Drakensberg Mountains, to be replaced by a blanket of stars.Perhaps you will take one of the more thrilling walks of all, through lion country where you will get closer to natures small creatures, trees and birds than you will ever imagine.Back at the camp, the swimming pool invites you to cool off and your charming African chalet with its thatched roof invites you to take rest through the heat of the African day.The Ezulwini Group has three exclusive Game Lodges adjoining the Kruger National Park, in Balule Private Nature Reserve, with our fences open to the Kruger. River Lodge: Luxury, thatched, air-conditioned twin or king bed chalets, with en-suite bathrooms, on the banks of the mighty Olifants River, largest of all of the lowveld rivers, for a maximum of 20 guests. The spelati suite offers that something extra with lounge, bedroom, indoor and outdoor bathroom. Facilities include boma, viewing decks overlooking a large dam and the Olifants River and bar.
