Our lodge is situated on the Etusis No.75 farm which is about 36 kilometers south-west from the town of Karibib, which lies on the main road halfway between Windhoek and Swakopmund and is about 2 hours driving from both cities.

The lodge is about 1.100 meters above sea level. The farm area covers more than 12.000 hectares and is partly savannah and partly mountains, in fact, one of the highest mountain ranges of the country - the Otjipatera Mountains - form part of the farm area. The famous Etusis waterhole with its waterfall is about 2 kilometers away from the lodge and is also part of the farm.

Most tropical diseases such as Malaria, Yellow Fever, Sleeping Sickness, Bilharziasis etc. are practically non existent in the vicinity of the farm.

The aim and project of the lodge is to observe wild animals in their natural habitat, to view and enjoy plants, mineral and rock formations. We are of the opinion that Africa can really only be experienced and enjoyed by travelling naturally, thus, apart from observation trips by 4x4 vehicles, we offer walking trips and excursions on horseback. In addition, the region is ideal for mountaineering and hiking.
