Etosha Village

Etosha Village is situated two kilometres from the Anderson Entrance Gate to the Etosha National Park; the gateway to Namibia's animal kingdom. We offer affordable accommodation, taking modern styling cues from the traditional African Village.

The accommodation units at Etosha Village have been designed in such a way as to combine comfort with real African charm. The units give the impression of spacious closeness to nature whilst still conveniently providing all the modern conveniences that today's discerning traveller demands. Taleni offers 40 well appointed, fully equipped safari tents with en-suite bathrooms, kitchenettes, most kitchen utensils and boma-style barbecue areas. Guests have access to three swimming pools, a well stocked convenience store and the restaurant that serves our famous buffet meals.

By prior arrangement and booking, at an additional cost, guided game viewing trips can be organized. There are twice a day excursions to Etosha National Park using two game viewing vehicles taking a maximum of 10 passengers per vehicle per trip. Morning drives commence at approximately 06H30, depending on gate opening times, which vary during seasonal changes. These trips last for approximately six hours. Afternoon drives depart at 14H00. Should vehicles be available, full day trips can also be arranged. The guides driving these vehicles have extensive knowledge of the area and animals and give running commentary as the trips proceed. Weather permitting, sundowner trips take guests to a nearby hill to enjoy a sundowner in the bush while watching the incredible sunsets of the area. The trip departs at approximately 18H30, depending on the weather and seasonal sunset times, and returns to the village at approximately 19H30.
