We had a lovely stay at Etikweni. It is quite isolated, and takes a while to get to via a sometimes difficult dirt road. This is therefore ideal if you want to get away from it all. I would add that the house is not very child friendly as there are no balustrades around the boma area to keep little ones from falling over into the river bed below. All in all a lovely place to stay in the Hoedspruit area.

Enjoyed every minute. Did not see much game, but that is not what it is all about, just being surrounded by bush, mountains and bird life was enough. Phinias the cleaner was very helpful, cleaned up very nicely & made such we had enough wood. Would go back anytime.
