Large pool, secure parking in the grounds, Essenwood House has Seven luxurious en-suite bedrooms most facing both the City and Indian Ocean. Three suites have their own private verandah and entrances.

All rooms are air conditioned, have individual private phone, Satellite TV,alarm clock radios, fully stocked bar fridges, tea and coffee making facilities and fresh flowers, fruit and newspapers daily. Internet access in all rooms.

An ideal base for visits to game reserves, the Drakensberg mountains, and all that Kwa-Zulu Natal has to offer.

Essenwoodhaus ist ein prachtvolles Haus mit hervorragendem Service. Es ist umgeben von einem wunderschönen tropischen Garten. Es liegt nahe am Botanischen Garten und der Altstadt. Die Besitzer geben gute Tips für Essen und Ausflüge. Ein sehr empfehlenswertes Haus Erica und Werner

I stayed at Essenwood House for three days and it was pure bliss. The room was exceptional, the breakfast beyond excellent, the staff pleasant and the grounds so peaceful. I will definitely be coming back for a weekend as soon as I can. I would definitely recommend this B & B to anyone, relax and enjoy your stay, its great value for money.

We really enjoyed our stay at Essenwood House and after we have travelled around for one month and stayed in famous places like Zimbali, Selborne, Lynton Hall, Hartford House etc. we think Essenwood House was really good.
