Description

Epako Game Lodge is a luxurious 11 000-hectare safari game lodge situated near Omaruru in Namibia. Our lodge is located in beautiful mountainous surroundings on the outskirts of the renowned Damaraland and is conveniently located midway between Windhoek and Swakopmund and the Etosha National Park.

We offer a warm and inviting atmosphere and boast a wide variety of animals and bird life. Our game drives include visits to Namibian San paintings and rock engravings which are located within our boundaries. One of the places most favoured by our guests is the inside and outside dining area which overlooks a waterhole. This drinking spot is frequented throughout the day by many different animals and lit up at night. Relax here and enjoy a meal or have a drink at the bar. If you are lucky you might meet Oscar, our tame giraffe. Take pleasure in the feeding of the cheetah and enjoy sundowners on one of Damaraland‘s mountains with wonderful views of the Namibian landscape.

Accommodation is luxuriously furnished in an African style. Each room has air-conditioning, a minibar, s telephone, an en-suite bathroom and a terrace overlooking the gardens or Namibian bush. Meals are a combination of Namibian and French cuisine with excellent South African wines to complement the experience.

Management is fluent in French, English, German, Italian and Dutch, while our specially trained Namibian guides speak English, Herero and Afrikaans.
