Oystercatcher Cottage 1

This Cottage was the first guest accommodation built at Elm Tree and remains one of the most popular. Handmade Batavian floor tiles and the bamboo shaded stoep keep it cool during the summer months. Sleeps six in total – 2 twin rooms downstairs, 1 open plan twin loft bedroom upstairs reached by a ladder. Fully equipped kitchen, TV, dining area, bathroom with shower. Braai on stoep overlooking harbour and bay.

The Tank 1

Purpose built and constructed to look like a farm reservoir, The Tank is spacious inside. Its circular design is both refreshing and comfortable, with chunky poplar beams, the glow of varnished wood and cool handmade floor tiles. Sleeps four in total – one double bedroom with balcony and one twin bedroom both upstairs. Fully equipped kitchen, large open plan living and dining area with TV, and french doors leading onto the stoep with braai and sea views. There is a large bathroom with shower.

The Hen House 1

Sleeps up to 4 in total – one twin bedroom plus two singles on couches in the lounge if required. TV, fully equipped kitchen, braai on stoep, sea views. Bathroom with shower. (semi-detached)

The Owl Loft 1

The Owl Loft is a recently converted apartment on top of the barn, so has wonderful views and, of course, privacy too. The loft is light and spacious, and its tongue and groove pine ceiling gives it a cosy feeling. The large balcony affords views along the coastline and across the bay, while a large window in the lounge looks over the harbour. There is one double bedroom, a bathroom with shower, a large living, dining and kitchen area. There is also a double sleeper couch in the lounge if required.

The Goose House 1

Recently converted from the old pottery studio, this cottage has wonderful views from the stoep over the duck ponds to the bay beyond. Our growing menagerie of ducks and geese, ducklings and goslings will keep you entertained. The accommodation consists of two bedrooms, one a double with a big old fashioned bed and the other a twin with two single beds. Each has an overhead fan, bedside tables, reading lamps and a comfy chair. The open plan living area has a TV and large windows for the views. There is a neat, attractive kitchen with breakfast bar. The bathroom has a toilet, sink and spacious shower. Double doors lead onto the covered stoep with built-in braai.
