Ellerbeck Country Lodge is located just outside the quaint old-world town of Clocolan in the Eastern Free State, set against the tranquil backdrop of a beautiful natural environment. The lodge offers self-catering accommodation in three luxury Chalets, a Honeymoon Suite and four lovely Rooms in the Main House, overlooking the spectacular valley framed by beautiful mountains and their rocky sandstone outcrops.

The three Chalets are comfortably furnished with a king-size or two single beds and enjoy lovely valley views, while the Rooms are furnished with double or single beds. The Honeymoon Suite is a private chalet furnished with a king-size bed and all rooms and units are en-suite, with either a bath or a shower. Tea and coffee facilities are also provided.

The Main House is equipped with a fully functional kitchen and the communal lounge is the perfect gathering place for spending time in front of the fireplace on cool winter evenings, while the porch is the perfect place to enjoy drinks while overlooking the surrounds. Guests have the option to have meals catered and breakfast and dinner packages are available. Morning and afternoon tea and snacks can also be served on request.

The main accommodation area at Ellerbeck Country Lodge is fenced and is monitored by a night guard. Each guest is also issued with a remote control for the gate, ensuring guests' safety, and cell phone reception is good in the area for those who have to stay in touch with the outside world.

Ellerbeck banquet hall is the perfect venue for birthday parties, product launches, year-end functions and as a wedding venue, it is your one-stop solution for your special day. The beautiful thatched roof banquet hall, overlooks a valley on the one side and is framed by mountains on the other. It is a fully licensed venue and can offer a cash bar for your event up until midnight. The conference hall can handle up to 200 delegates and ample parking is available. To add more relaxation, spa treatments are also available and guests can enjoy a facial, massage or a nail treatment.

The Lodge is nestled between the Korannaberg and the Maluti mountains and their typical brilliant display of gold and copper cliffs have made this area famous worldwide. Several walking trails are marked out and cater for every type of walk, from a lazy afternoon stroll to more adventurous walks. The area is known for its bird population and the species in the area include Cape vultures, Black eagles and Martial eagles. Photographers will also enjoy the area, with its vast sandstone mountains, big skies, rich biodiversity and spectacular sunsets, and the area is home to many indigenous plants.
