Description

Elephant’s Nest is elegantly designed, African themed guest lodge with intimate atmosphere and ample personal attention. All with views over a sprawling garden, mountains and verandahs. Main area with veranda, wooden deck and undercover barbeque, dining room with wood burning iron stove, comfortable lounge with fireplace, TV, music system and library. Mahogany and antique furniture, information booth, credit card facilities, dinner and picnic baskets on request mainly a set menu, dinner, light meals and drinks served throughout the day and secure undercover parking available.

Mountain biking trails, half hour to five hours hiking trail through natural forests and mountain terrain. Fanie Botha hiking trail 79 km, 5 days. We can do the drop offs. Also in the region is horse riding and trout fishing. We do fully inclusive, escorted tours to all the sights as well as the Moholoholo private game reserve.

We had a pleasant stay. The service was great as well as the condition of the rooms and house. Only the walk to the city centre was a bit far over lonely roads.
We had a great 3 day stay.

The teenage kids were very welcome, the rooms were lovely, clean, secure and spacious. The gardens are beautiful, the food plentiful and the hostess is very welcoming and friendly, as is her very cute dog!
