Eagle's Rest

Eagle’s Rest cottage is situated high up, overlooking the Gonubie River valley, with magnificent river valley views. This stand-alone self-catering thatched cottage is in the peaceful, tranquil, treed setting of a conservation area, only a short stroll from the river's edge and a short drive to Gonubie’s beautiful beach.

Surrounded by indigenous trees and bush, the area attracts the most wonderful birdlife and you can be assured of being woken by birdsong every morning – be it the fish eagles, Egyptian geese, crowned and trumpeter hornbills, kingfishers, shrikes or loeries.

The fully equipped cottage has two bedrooms, each has two single beds and an en-suite bathroom, one with a shower and the other with a bath. The rooms accommodate four guests, and there is a single bed sleeper couch in the lounge that can be utilised if necessary for one additional guest. The cottage has an open-plan kitchen and lounge with a wooden deck where you can sip sun downers, relax and enjoy the spectacular views. There is safe parking on the property.
