Description

The name Eagle's Nest is ideal for this spectacular double-story stone guest house, nestled between the twin villages of Greyton and McGregor in the heart of the Riviersonderend mountains. This is where the famous Boesmanskloof Die Galg Hiking Trail ends from Greyton's side and also starts on the McGregor side.

This self-catering guest house offers four double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet. Each room is named after an African eagle and equipped with linen and towels. The bedrooms are on the upper level of the guest house and offer balconies with breathtaking views over the gorge. A separate bedroom downstairs has three single beds, also with en-suite shower and toilet.

Upon entering Eagle’s Nest, your eyes are drawn to the glass sliding door which leads to the patio. A 12-seater dining table ensures long hours of socializing. Couches and a wonderful interior braai area provide cosy entertainment opportunities. A big family kitchen with a wooden table provides warmth, and is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery and other cookware.
