Description

Eagle Falls is situated between the Outeniqua and Kammanassie Mountains, 66 km from George, 70 km from Outdshoorn and 30 km from Uniondale. The road winds away from the Kammanassie River into the hills.

Guests are accommodated in luxury 2 bedroom self-contained log chalets with all crockery, cutlery, microwave, stove, refrigerator, satellite TV etc. supplied.

Please bring your own towels.

Firewood is available for the indoor fireplace or outdoor barbeque.

The main house consists of further self-contained accommodation as well as the Restaurant and cosy Pub for those who wish to have farm style meals prepared for them.

Eagle Falls is well situated for day trips into the Langkloof where fruit farms may be visited or fresh fruit purchased from the various farms stalls.In the opposite direction the popular Cango Caves, ostrich farms, crocodile and cheetah ranch may be visited. Wine tasting of locally produced wines is also available at the various wine farms along the route.

We enjoyed our one night stay at Eagle Falls very much. The two ladies on duty went out of their way to let us feel welcome. That includes making two breakfasts for the one guy for dinner the Friday night. We also requested an early breakfast as the two men in the party took part in the Trans Baviaans MTB-race on Saturday.
