Eagle Island Camp in Botswana’s Okavango Delta is the ultimate luxury safari paradise. Situated on the remote Xaxaba Island among a web of waterways and lush vegetation, it overlooks a lagoon that attracts a variety of big game and exotic birds.
Explore the region by local canoe, set out on a game drive or roam on foot. Included in your stay at Eagle Island Camp is a spectacular game-viewing helicopter flight. The open sides of the helicopter allows guests to take the most fantastic photographs, capturing the experience forever.

Dine in the open air or under our covered area while watching the Botswana sun set across the water lily filled waters. After dinner migrate to the bar and lounge areas. Seated around our camp fire you can share stories of the day’s experiences with other guests or simply curl up and relax while the wildlife in the Delta does the same. You can now dine in style in the middle of the bush, as your guide serves breakfast or dinner in the open air.
Eagle Island Camp has one of the most romantic bars, located on its own private island away from the main camp. Facilities include an alfresco dining area overlooking the surrounding lagoon, a private site for spectacular bush brunches or dinners on request, a 20 m swimming pool ideal to catch up on some laps, a curio shop, and Internet access and a satellite TV located discreetly away from the main lounge and dining areas.
The camp also offers VHS radio communications plus 24-hour emergency facilities, tent-to-tent internal telephone services, satellite phones on request, high powered telescopes for stargazing presentations, same-day laundry services, a small reference library of books on the flora and fauna of the area, talks and lectures by our environmentalist on request, and a private airstrip and helicopter landing pad.

The large private decks are furnished with easy chairs and hammocks, ideal for viewing wildlife or for enjoying a private dinner in complete privacy. The tents' interior are luxuriously appointed with en-suite bathrooms, private fully stocked mini bars, four poster beds complete with mosquito netting, as well as discreet air-conditioning.
