Seated around our camp fire you can share stories of the day’s experiences with other guests or simply curl up and relax while the wildlife in the Delta does the same. You can now dine in style in the middle of the bush, as your guide serves breakfast or dinner in the open air.

Eagle Island Camp has one of the most romantic bars, located on its own private island away from the main camp. Facilities include an al fresco dining area overlooking the surrounding lagoon, a private site for spectacular bush brunches or dinners on request, a 20 m swimming pool ideal to catch up on some laps, a curio shop, and Internet access and a satellite TV located discreetly away from the main lounge and dining areas.

The camp also offers VHS radio communications plus 24-hour emergency facilities, tent-to-tent internal telephone services, satellite phones on request, high powered telescopes for stargazing presentations, same-day laundry services, a small reference library of books on the flora and fauna of the area, talks and lectures by our environmentalist on request, and a private airstrip and helicopter landing pad.
