Dubells Beach House

Dubells Beach House is a very exclusive guest house nestled in the bush on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast at Southbroom Beach. With only four bedrooms available, we offer private guest house accommodation or rental of the entire villa.

The warm Indian Ocean is a playground for dolphins and a nursery to whales. They are both often spotted from the deck at Dubells which is situated on the Southbroom estuary and the Imbazani River. Attractions include miles of sandy beaches with amazing tidal pools, marine reserves, and tropical gardens. The lush and indigenous vegetation is a home to countless birds and wildlife, and fish eagles who have made their home on the estuary often visit us at Dubells.

The garden leads down to a path with a bamboo and mangrove canopy to the dock at the river. Here guests can take the paddle ski or little boat down the river or over to Southbroom Beach just a few meters away. For the more adventurous, we can supply guests with a couple of bikes to ride down to the beach or on the many bike paths in the village.

With prior arrangement we can also take guests on the rubber ducky down the Imbazani River or over to Southboom Beach. Dubells can supply a picnic basket and cooler for the trip for guests' convenience.
