Description

Situated in the sand forest, on a small private reserve overlooking False Bay, near the sleepy town of Hluhluwe, this Lodge is ideally positioned for access to the coast and Lake St Lucia, as well as the northern KwaZulu-Natal game reserves, including Hluhluwe, Umfolozi, Mkuzi and others.

Our reserve itself offers a self-guided nature trail with guaranteed sightings of indigenous wildlife and a swimming pool for those who wish simply to relax.

The Lodge offers accommodation in luxury suits, each with its own lounge, bathroom and patio overlooking False Bay. All meals are prepared in our kitchen, and a variety of nearby restaurants options are also available.

Outstanding overnight accommodation

Ons het vir een nag gedurende Desember by Drifters Zululand Lodge oorgeslaap. Dit is rerig 'n baie mooi lodge, alles was mooi netjies en die uitsig was asemrowend! We stayed at Drifters Zululand Lodge for one night during December. It is really a pretty lodge, everything is neat and the view is breathtaking!

Drifters is located perfectly and we loved being secluded, with a stunning view. We did not get much time to enjoy it though, as we only stayed a day. Keren and her husband were very accommodating, even allowing us to check in early after our long journey from Johannesburg. Unfortunately, we did not have breakfast as we planned on leaving early the next morning and told Keren not to worry. What a superb place to stay. Ideally located for Hluhluwe, Umfolozi, St Lucia etc. Very comfortable and relaxing. The freshly baked muffins at breakfast were fantastic!
