If you are looking for very private bed and breakfast or self-catering accommodation in the Cape, about an hour-and-a-half drive out of Cape Town, then Dreamcatcher is a wonderful retreat. You will enjoy an extremely tranquil stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The house sleeps a minimum of two or a maximum of six guests in three double rooms, but whether you rent one, two or three bedrooms, the whole house is at all times exclusively yours. You will not be sharing with any other people.
Dreamcatcher has three double bedrooms and three bathrooms, of which two are en-suite. The bedrooms are air-conditioned. The bathrooms are spacious and modern with all the best fittings. The kitchen, lounge and dining room area is open-plan and with a high, arched ceiling, the area is large, light and airy. For cooler evenings there is a large fireplace to keep you warm while you watch the TV with M-Net, or enjoy some of the fine Cape wine you've purchased from any one of the nearby wine estates during the day.
The dining-lounge area has two sets of large double doors that lead onto an enclosed patio with a swimming pool, an outdoor seating area and a braai area. The kitchen is well equipped with an oven and hob, a microwave, a large refrigerator and everything you would need to cater for a sit-down dinner for eight guests. The dining room table seats eight very comfortably if you decide to dine indoors rather than enjoy the outdoor barbecue area.
Dreamcatcher is situated half a kilometre from the historic town of Tulbagh and only a 500-metre walk will lead you to restaurants. Enjoy the peaceful country atmosphere.

Had a good weekend break at Dreamcatcher, enjoyed not being surrounded by other homes, would be great if kitchen had a dishwasher and additional bedroom had an air-conditioner for super hot summer days like we experienced, splash pool was fantastic to dip in when temperatures soared to 38 degrees celsius. Overall the house had what we needed for a comfortable self catering stay.
Beautifully appointed home. Very comfortable. Close to everything. Would recommend to visitors.
We decided to head Ceres way to view the snow. I booked Dreamcatcher for the weekend. We enjoyed our stay, there are three bedrooms with three bathrooms and a spacious living area. We loved the large fireplace and the beds were comfy. The accommodation was clean and had all the facilities we required.
We had a wonderful stay! The house was so nice and clean and had everything one needed "especially a pool and aircon". We will definitely recommend it to our friends and hopefully stay there again soon!
the stay was amazing, we had a great time. we really enjoyed our selves and we will sure be going back there. it is an amazing place and has a lovely warm homely feeling to it. just a pity it was so cold we could not enjoy the lovely splash pool but none the less it was an awesome get away. Jamey
