About Dithakong Bed & Breakfast
This 3 Star graded bed and breakfast offers comfortable and luxurious rooms in the tranquil area of Pimville, Soweto. Management prides itself with extensive hospitality experience and ensures that all needs of leisure travellers are exceptionally fulfilled.
Dithakong Bed and Breakfast, with its friendly staff and elegantly furnished rooms, is the ideal place to call home while visiting this remarkable Soweto township in Johannesburg, Gauteng. Residents of several parts of Soweto like to tell visitors that theirs is the original township. In fact, the area of Soweto that can rightly claim this distinction is Pimville. It was a shanty town known as Skom in the 60s. In the 70s, the area was developed and families were housed in four-room houses and the area was thereafter known as Klipspruit.
We offer three double rooms as well as a self-catering flatlet detached from the main house, with en-suite bathroom and kitchenette. All bedrooms feature separate entrances, TVs, fans, heaters, hairdryers and are equipped with beverage facilities and complimentary coffees and teas.
The exquisitely appointed interiors furnished in Africa’s rich royal colours create a mood of ease and comfort in the spacious lounge with DStv. Guests have the option of enjoying a delicious English or continental breakfast in the spacious dining room seating six, or outdoor on the patio. A treat or tasty local African cuisine dinner and lunch is also provided on request. In addition, access to an office with Internet, email and fax is available at specialized rates.
If you require an earlier check-in or a later check-out, please contact the booking office at your earliest convenience to see if this is possible.
