Unfortunately, my family and I were unable to stay at Die Withuisie for the night, as my meeting in Lainsburg finished much later than expected, and it was rather dark before we headed out to travel the approximate 100kms to Ladismith and Die Withuisie,, and then decided to turn around and find a place to stay in Lainsburg. However, Bernadine was very helpful at all times, and I am truly sorry that did not make it, as we were all so looking forward to it.Perhaps another time at your beautiful home.Light and love, Vanessa x

I had the most wonderful stay. The peace and tranquillity was amazing. The cottage was very sweet and the owners were wonderful to me!!!!Will definitely go again.

We stay one night. But we wished we could stay longer. It is such a beautiful place. The owners are very kind. Our daughter had the time of her life as she was allowed to ride on their horse.

A place of real peace. Everything we needed, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Lovely to be surrounded by fields, orchards and trees, to wake up in the morning to birdsong, to have the mountains as a backdrop. Apricots to pick, warm from the sun. Kind and helpful landlord. We only stayed two days, but would recommend this for a longer stay.

Thank you for your kindness and your warm hospitality. The self-catering unit is very good. We appreciated our stay here, unfortunately short, but South Africa is such a big country.
